Kristin Burns is an Associate in the Dallas offices of Godwin Bowman PC. Ms. Burns’ primary focus is on commercial and business litigation matters in a broad range of complex legal issues. Her practice includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in business and commercial disputes involving banking, corporate governance, contract disputes, mergers and acquisitions, employment, and other business litigation issues.
Kristin received her J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude, and was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient. While at SMU, she was the Treasurer of SMU Women in Law, a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research, Writing & Advocacy, an Associate Editor of the International Law Review Association, and a Student Attorney at the SMU Civil Clinic, Consumer Advocacy Project.
