Markeyta Mitchell is an Associate in the Dallas office of Godwin Bowman PC. Ms. Mitchell’s primary focus is on commercial and business litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in business and commercial disputes involving banking, corporate governance, contract disputes, mergers and acquisitions as well as other business litigation issues. In addition, her experience includes defense of physicians against claims of professional medical malpractice and negligence in Texas state courts.
Markeyta received her J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law. During her time there, she worked in the Entrepreneurship Clinic where she assisted clients with entity selection and formation. She also served as a judicial clerk for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office, Mecklenburg Public Defender’s Office, and other law firms. She holds a B.S. degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee.
