Michelle McKinney is a Board-Certified Senior Attorney in the Dallas office of Godwin Bowman PC. Ms. McKinney’s primary focus is on Family Law. Her practice areas include divorce, child custody disputes, modification of prior orders, adoptions, and premarital agreements.

Michelle received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While there, she made Dean’s list, served as President of the Labor and Employment Society, and worked in the Bankruptcy Clinic as a student attorney. Ms. McKinney received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey She majored in Social Work, with a focus on Mental Health and Substance Abuse with a minor in Professional writing. While at Rutgers she also achieved Dean’s List, served as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Environmental Science Department and graduated number one in her class from the School of Social Work in 2008. Michelle served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Jorge Solis of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Texas.
