Taylor W. Meek is an Associate at Godwin Bowman PC, based in the Firm’s Dallas office, representing creditors across Texas and California. The majority of his practice involves high volume, fast-paced litigation centered on the successful recovery of collateral for automotive finance companies. Mr. Meek has extensive experience with the efficient recovery of collateral by sequestration, contesting mechanics’ and storage liens, actions for fraud and conversion, and the domestication of foreign judgments for enforcement. Beyond his work with Creditors, Mr. Meek has significant experience in multiple areas in the oil & gas industry, including the acquisition of mineral interests and subsequent collection of any unpaid royalties.
Mr. Meek graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History, a minor in Business Administration, from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, where he was a Presidential Scholar. Mr. Meek graduated from Loyola Law School Los Angeles with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He earned a forty-hour mediation training certification under the California Dispute Resolutions Program Act (DRPA). He attended SMU Dedman School of Law as a visiting student for his final year of law school.
