DALLAS – Five attorneys from the noted Dallas trial and appellate law firm, Godwin Bowman PC PC, have been recognized on the 2017 list of Texas Rising Stars. Selected annually by legal industry publishing leader, Thomson Reuters, the Texas Rising Stars designation recognizes the top young lawyers in the state.

Godwin Bowman PC Shareholder Laci Bowman was honored for the fifth consecutive year in
the area of Family Law, and was also chosen among Texas’ “Up and Coming 100 Texas Rising Stars” and “Up and Coming 50 Texas Women Rising Stars” this year, honoring the Texas young lawyers who received the highest point totals during the 2017 selection process.

Shareholders Ira Bowman and Israel Silvas, along with Senior Counsel Stefanie McGregor, earned Rising Stars recognition for the sixth time based on the strength of their Business Litigation practice, while Senior Attorney Alison Battiste received Rising Stars honors for the third time in the area of Business Litigation.

The Texas Rising Stars list is an annual publication of the Thomson Reuters legal division. Texas Rising Stars recognizes the state’s foremost lawyers who are under the age of 40, who have been practicing law less than 10 years, or both. After peer nominations and extensive review, only 2.5 percent of all attorneys are selected to the final list of Texas Rising Stars. The complete Texas Rising Stars list will appear in the May 2017 issue of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.
