Godwin Bowman PC Shareholder Stefanie M. McGregor Named to J.L. Turner Legal Association Board of Directors

DALLAS – Godwin Bowman PC is pleased to announce that Stefanie M. McGregor, a Litigation Shareholder in the Firm’s Dallas office, has been elected to the 2019 Board of Directors of the J.L. Turner Legal Association, the African‐American Bar Association of Dallas, Texas. JLTLA Directors are selected for their outstanding professional achievements, and their demonstrated commitment to the organization, as well as to the North Texas community. Election is a mark of distinction, and recognition of Ms. McGregor’s contributions to the Dallas legal profession.

Elected to the Board by the general membership of the Association at the JLTLA October, 2018 general meeting, Ms. McGregor joins incoming President Erin Nowell, and a full slate of new and returning Board members and officers, who are prepared to guide the organization through the coming year.

The J.L. Turner Legal Association (“JLTLA”), is the African‐ American Bar Association in Dallas, Texas. The mission of JLTLA is to improve the quality of life in the community through education, service and scholarship. JLTLA members provide scholarships to law students demonstrating financial or other needs, provide attorney mentors for law students, perform educational and other community outreach projects for North Texas area residents, and assist members and the community to become more aware of African‐American attorneys who practice in various areas of the law.
