Godwin Bowman PC Supports the University of Texas Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association

Godwin Bowman PC was honored to sponsor the 29th Annual Cultural celebration and Awards Banquet of the University of Texas Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association. The event honored 20 outstanding Latinas, including UT Law and CHLSA Alumnae from 1977 to 2004 who have become law firm partners, non-profit leaders, law school professors and elected and appointed officials from the Rio Grande Valley to New York City. While Latinas represent 7% of the nation’s population, they make up on 1.3% of the lawyer’s in the U.S., the lowest representation of any racial or ethnic group. Godwin Bowman PC believes in supporting women and ethnic diversity in the legal field, and is proud of its support of this fine organization.
