Bruce Bowman, Shawn McCaskill Earn Repeat Honors as Lawdragon Leading Lawyers  

Godwin Bowman  Executive Vice President and General Counsel Bruce Bowman Jr. and President and Managing Shareholder Shawn McCaskill have again been named to the prestigious Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America legal guide for 2026.  

Mr. Bowman, well known for successfully handling diverse types of litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, was recognized for his exceptional work in civil trial law. Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, this marks the sixth time he has been selected for the prominent listing.  

Mr. McCaskill received the honor for a second consecutive year based upon his success in both state and federal appellate courts. Board Certified in Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he is chair of the Godwin Bowman appellate section.  

Mr. Bowman and Mr. McCaskill join Chairman and CEO Donald Godwin as multiple Leading Lawyers honorees. Mr. Godwin earned the honor six times prior to being selected to Lawdragon’s Hall of Fame, which celebrates attorneys considered to have the most long-term, far-reaching impact on the legal profession.
